About Our Firm
Kelley / Uustal was founded by two of the nation’s most successful and experienced trial attorneys, Robert Kelley and John Uustal.
The firm's attorneys include seasoned courtroom advocates with combined courtroom experience spanning nearly fifty years and more than one hundred jury trials. Our passion is to help our clients seek justice. Under our legal system, justice is quantified by the award of monetary damages. Together, the attorneys at Kelley / Uustal have been instrumental in securing almost a quarter of a billion dollars in jury awards and settlements for their clients.
Quite often, in especially complex cases, evidence isn’t always apparent at the scene of the accident. Evidence is sometimes buried in engineering design documents, corporation reports, interoffice memos and past cases. Kelley / Uustal’s unique Forensic Discovery Methodology allows the firm to reverse-engineer the scene of an accident, injury, or product malfunction. The firm's attorneys, along with engineers, doctors and scientists, trace the root causes of a personal tragedy back to its earliest and truest origin, ensuring that justice is served.
Protect and Prevent
As advocates against dangerous products, the attorneys at Kelley / Uustal have dramatically improved the lives of the clients they represent. Our cases continue to define the standards of success in protecting the rights of people injured by dangerous products, greedy corporations and medical negligence.
Just as importantly, our actions have helped to enforce responsibility within the insurance industry, improve automobile and product safety, and prescription drug testing practices. An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure.
Pursuit of Justice
When injuries cannot be prevented, Kelley / Uustal attorneys pursue justice. We have the courage and resources to stand up against powerful corporations that sell defective products and the insurance companies who don't deliver on their commitments. In short, we have the successful courtroom experience to stand and deliver.
Punish Intentional Wrongdoing
When companies care more about profits than safety, they must be held accountable, and wrongdoing must be punished in a court of law. This accountability continues to make the cars we drive, the medical products we use, and the consumer products we buy safer.
Protect and Prevent. Pursuit of Justice.
Punish Intentional Wrongdoing.
That’s our Passion.
